After you've completed your required consultation – we schedule your treatment. Typically, you’ll require 3-4 sessions, scheduled three weeks (back to back). A 35% deposit is due at the time of booking.

Using hair-color pigment, a needle is used to inject the pigment into the areas of the head affected by hair loss. Unlike other hair restoration methods, scalp micro pigmentation is non-invasive, quick, and shows immediate results.

Does Scalp Micropigmentation (SMP) hurt?

Scalp micro Pigmentation should never be considered a one treatment process. Most clients can expect between 2-4 sessions to complete their treatment depending on the extent of hair loss or scarring. At Kani Gordon Hair Group we have back to back weeks on the same day of the week. So when you book your first session expect to return the following week for up to two weeks after.

How long are the SMP sessions?

The Scalp Micro Pigmentation treatment typically takes 2-4 hours per session depending on your degree of hair loss. Most clients can expect between 2-4 sessions to complete their treatment depending on the extent of hair loss or scarring.

How long does SMP results last?

We realize that dealing with hair loss and alopecia is incredibly difficult and a topic that is so sensitive to many. We like to honor our guests with the privacy and comfort that is due to them. The services take place in a private suite with no other clients present. The time is exclusively for 1 guest at a time. Other persons present are stylist conducting service and assistant aiding in the service.

Is Scalp Micropigmentation detectable?

Hair Replacement pieces can have a life expectancy of 2-4 months. Proper care and maintenance are required for optimal results and longevity. Units can sometimes exceed 4 months but are strictly and uniquely case by case.

How many treatments should I expect?

Maintenance is required once a month and no longer than 1.5 months which is often reserved for clients traveling from out of state. Maintenance consists of shampooing hair while still attached to the client, re-adhering areas that may have experienced slight and minimal lifting, and restyling (refer to price menu for most up to date pricing)

Do I need to take time off work for my Scalp Micropigmentation appointment?

Yes, there are different kinds of maintenance:

Routine maintenance -consists of shampooing hair while still attached to the client, re-adhering areas that may have experienced slight and minimal lifting, and restyling (refer to price menu for most up to date pricing) usually happens every 3 to 4 weeks.

Extensive maintenance – consists of shampooing hair while still attached to the client, re-adhering areas that may have experienced more pronounced lifting, extra detangling/ conditioning, cleaning, and restyling (refer to price menu for most up to date pricing)

usually occurs in the second month of wear.

Reattachment – consists of complete removal of the unit and thorough shampooing of both client and hairpiece. Prep work experienced in the preliminary application is done for the re-adhering of the existing hair unit. Cutting and styling of the same then follow as normal. (refer to price menu for most up to date pricing)
